Our Mission

Purpose + Passion

= Impact

For every $1 of revenue, Certified Indigenous Suppliers generate $4.41 of social return*. That’s a four-fold impact. If your organisation has a Reconciliation Action Plan, Corporate Social Responsibility goals or procurement targets that consider Indigenous business initiatives, working with a certified Indigenous business will ensure you not only meet, but exceed those aims and make a genuine impact on the lives of thousands of Indigenous people.

Allambee Facility Supplies is certified by Australia’s leading database of verified Indigenous businesses, Supply Nation. Purpose and passion have been incorporated into our business model to ensure optimal impact for both your organisation and Indigenous communities.

Your dollar works harder and goes further when you spend with Allambee.

‘Allambee‘ is an aboriginal word meaning ‘to remain a while’

We hope that by engaging our services, you too can ‘remain a while’
and help us make a real impact on lives of Indigenous people

Culture And Values

Mental health initiatives

Indigenous society promotes social cohesion, support and a sense of belonging. Connection to Country and culture can help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people not just survive, but ultimately thrive. This is paramount in helping reduce the prevalent risk of suicide; a modern-day epidemic which was almost unknown in traditional Aboriginal society

According to recent studies:

  • 169 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people tragically took their own lives in 2018.
  • The suicide rate amongst Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is more than double the national rate.
  • Suicide is the fifth leading cause of death for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, compared to fourteenth for non-Indigenous people.

It is imperative to remember that these are not just statistics; they are real people, real communities. Allambee is committed to helping tackle this problem by donating 20 percent of our net profits to mental health support provided by suicide prevention charity, R U OK?.

Indigenous Sporting Events

The Koori Knockout, one of the largest Indigenous sporting events in Australia, is a four-day festival of rugby league and Indigenous culture that has been held since 1971. Thousands of spectators gather to see the action, which often features several rising stars and future talent.

At the event held on the Central Coast town of Tuggerah in 2019, Allambee sponsored the Walgett Aboriginal Connection men’s team. From a field of 64 men’s teams, Walgett Aboriginal Connection skillfully made it all the way to the semi-finals.

The Koori Knockout is not just about footy. It isthe chance to gather and reunite with family and community; which is why Allambee was so deeply proud to support the Walgett Aboriginal Connection 2019.
